Randonnee Coffee Co. is a relaxed café tucked just off 1st Avenue in Mosier, a small town that bends alongside the Columbia River Gorge. It’s the kind of spot that locals and travelers alike find themselves lingering over because of its easygoing vibe and thoughtfully roasted coffee.

The café feels especially inviting on crisp mornings or sunny afternoons, when the outdoor seating area fills with folks sipping lattes or iced drinks while soaking in fresh Gorge air. The atmosphere is casual yet attentive — there’s a steady hum of conversations and the comforting smells of beans roasting and pastries baking. This makes it a natural pit stop whether you’re on a weekend road trip or just in need of a mid-day coffee break after a hike or bike ride around Mosier.

Randonnee’s menu leans into classic and creative coffee drinks with options like a robust Americano, a smooth cortado, and a standout pistachio mocha latte that offers a nutty twist against rich chocolate notes. Pastries, especially the blueberry scone and some well-balanced chocolate-infused bites, have caught regular praise for their flaky texture and just-right sweetness, striking a nice counterpoint to the coffee’s sharper edges.

For those visiting later in the day or looking for something different, the beverage selection extends to local craft beers and refreshing non-coffee options like an iced butterfly flower tea and a bright house lemonade, making it a versatile spot for varying moods and times.

This café draws a mix of early risers grabbing a quick caffeine hit and slower-paced visitors who settle in with a book or chat at the patio tables. The staff keep things friendly and service flows smoothly without pretension, fitting the small-town feel. The nearby La Vacita Taco Truck also adds a touch of local flavor, pairing well with your coffee if you’re in the mood for a heartier bite.

In all, Randonnee Coffee Co. fits naturally into Mosier’s laid-back rhythm. If you find yourself driving through the Gorge or exploring the local trail networks, it’s a spot where you can pause, enjoy thoughtfully made coffee, and take in some quiet town energy.

Nice coffee shop. One of the best pan a chocolate I’ve ever had—good amount of chocolate, not greasy, and just flaky enough.

Pulled into this coffee shop just by chance and absolutely loved it. The smell of cooking beans was so inviting. Looking forward to going back next time we pass through.

We got some of their seasonal specials - brown sugar for me and Cardamom for my wife. Absolutely delicious! She also got a tomato and cheese pastry which was amazing! Great service and atmosphere in a great location.

Very cute coffee shop just outside of Hood River, I’m so glad we stopped here! I purchased the cold brew with vanilla flavored cold foam on top and it was SO delicious. Highly recommend stopping thru here if you’re in the area.

Stopped by this small coffee shop on a road trip. $4 price for single espresso or drip coffee seemed rather steep (we had great coffee on this trip from other places for $2-3 per single espresso). Drip coffee of the day was Columbia, as the sales person told me. Not sure how are their espresso drinks but plain coffee was one of the best I had. So fresh, flavorful (all natural coffee flavor, nothing added). Totally worth the money for me. Service isn't super cordial, more like typical "Gen Z stare" type, but it was a simple transaction in my case, so no sweat. I would appreciate though if there wasn't an obligatory tip screen where you have to select "no tip" (tip for what?) under the watchful eye of the sales person. Tip: in season, don't miss fantastic and reasonably priced fruit stand across the street.

Hands down the best scone, baked goods, and coffee I’ve had at Randonnee COFFEE co. I got to meet the owner who was super nice along with the professional roaster who roasts all the coffee beans in house. The vibes are really cute with indoor and outdoor seating. Everything about this place is perfect! I love it :)
